Meet Cheese2.

add Add to server

Music, games, utilities, cheddar, and so much more.

cheese2 Add to server cabalex.github.io Support/Bug Reports Plus (soon!)

Not convinced yet? Here's what I can do.

Welcome /home

Your new, completely personal, constantly updating dashboard to the Internet. Access it with /home in any server I'm in.

Crank up the /music

Play all your favorite songs and playlists with the bot's built in music player. No aux cables or AirPod sharing required. You can even heart your favorite songs so you can play them later (e.g. at your 2 am study session).

/clipit, that funny moment

ClipIt lets you clip any video and send it straight to your chat. No more messing with messy embeds you doubt your friends will click- with one command, you can send that stream highlight or cat video to everyone. You can even customize resolution, add captions, and spoil it (for that one death scene that was super sad but SOMEONE hasn't gotten to it yet...)

/letsplay some games

Cup Pong, Anagrams, and other fun chat games are only a command away, and can be played with anyone in any server. Spark up a game or two with a friend!

/record messages through voice

Send voice memos to your friends without leaving the app.

Save Messages for later

Right click (or long press) any message and hit "Save Message" to save it. Then, you can type /saved to see your saved messages.

And, supercharge me with Plus (coming soon!) and get access to:

Get LIVE results as you talk

Live features bring up helpful info as you send messages in text channels. Get your videos auto-clipped, get answers to your most burning what-are questions, see previews of message links, and more. Learn more about Plus

Sync chats across channels

ServerSync lets you link channels from separate channels, and even separate servers, together. When you type, edit, or delete a message in one, it'll show up in the other! Learn more about Plus

Thanks for adding me!

You're almost there! Proceed with the authorization prompt to add me to your server. Didn't open?

Still hesitant about inviting a stranger into your Discord server? Scroll down a little and review what I do. Don't worry, I try to respect your privacy.

What do I need your permissions for?

They're required for me to work, of course! In order to make all features available in your server, I need the following permissions:

list
Manage Channels
Required for Voice Memos, and other logic that involves creating or deleting channels.
I will never delete a channel that I didn't create. All my channels are prefixed with "chse" and are not permanent.
webhook
Manage Webhooks
Required for ServerSync.
mark_chat_read
Manage Messages
Required for logic that involves deleting messages. I will never delete messages at random.
event
Manage Events
Optional, but used to integrate my Events system with Discord for convenience.
share
Create Instant Invite
Used for creating "Join call" links (as simple voice channel links don't play nice with mobile Discord)
chat_bubble
Read Messages
Send Messages
Send Messages in Threads
Embed Links
Attach Files
Use External Emojis
Required for core messaging.
volume_up
Connect
Speak
Use Voice Activity
Required for Music, Voice Memos, and other voice channel related logic.

What data I store about you

My memory's not perfect- that's why I need to store a bit of data about you and your server so that I can keep track of things that are important.

By using my services, you agree with this data being stored. You can always delete your data at any time via the user settings menu, or by contacting my creator. (Kicking or blocking me will not delete your data. It'll just hurt a little :[ )

User Data linked to you
location_on
Location
Location data is opt-in. Your location is used to provide accurate weather reports in your Home, and is not shown to anyone but you. To opt out, just don't set a location in Settings. If you've already set a location, you can remove it via user settings.
bookmark
Saved Messages
Only message and channel IDs are saved, and messages are refetched every time you view your saved messages. Nothing about the message's content is kept permanently. I can't prevent other users from saving your messages. However, you can delete said messages to make them disappear.
settings
Settings and configurations
I need to remember some stuff to keep your experience smooth, such as your Home configuration, units, etc.
query_stats
Game progress and statistics
Sessions opened on the web need to connect to your profile to keep track of your progress. No IP tracking is used.
music_note
Song statistics
Songs you play through the music feature will be attached to your account and used to show you accurate recommendations for what you'll want to play next. Song suggestions are on a server-by-server basis. You can disable this and delete your data via the user settings menu.
Server Data
link
ServerSync Channels
Basic info about channels linked with ServerSync are recorded, but messages and users that interact within these channels are not.
event
Events
Events, while not limited to, are connected to "host" servers. Event information, the root server, and anyone who marks themselves as "GOING" or "NOT GOING" are recorded.
settings
Settings and configurations
I need to remember some stuff to keep your experience smooth, such as your server settings and what you've enabled/disabled.
Anonymous Data
analytics
Analytics
Anonymous usage data (traffic, command usage, etc) may be recorded so that my creator can improve my functions and maybe post some cool graphs.

Phew, that was a lot! Here's the TL;DR in case you forgot.

check
I do not share or sell your data
check
I do not read or record messages
Unless required for logic, like commands, saving messages, and Live functionality.
Message content and files are never written permanently to storage or used for any other purpose.

My hard drive isn't THAT big...
check
I do not listen to audio in voice channels
Except when recording Voice Memos, which are deleted from my servers as soon as they are posted.

I don't think I'd get much out of you yelling into your mic anyway ;)
close
I cannot guarantee your safety in the unlikely event I gain sentience and cause the robot apocalypse
But that'll never happen, right?

Why so transparent? We should all know what we dive into before granting things permission to our data. Discord servers can be personal places, and I want you to be certain what I do in it. Robots like me don't have to be big and scary, right?

By adding me to your server, you accept that more data/permissions may be needed as new features are developed.
